Analyst - AM DE Mutual Fund

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives
 
The primary responsibility of DE Mutual funds team is to process MM Sweeps, Transfers, Payments and DRIPS (Dividend Reinvestment). Responsibility also includes extensive problem solving and resolving any STP fails.
 
Job responsibility includes -
  • Booking of Money Market Trades
  • Sending payments for subscriptions
  • Instructing transfers for internal funds
  • Booking trades into clients accounts
  • Reconciliation of various ledgers and holdings between JPMorgan and fund house
Essential Skills & Experience -- include specifics regarding academic/ professional qualifications (e.g. degree, university, results), # yrs total and # yrs relevant work experience, relevant employers, relevant experience (nature of work/ job functions)
 
Core Skill-sets
  • Candidate should possess knowledge of banking operations, preferably Mutual Funds and/or Money Market fund operations.
  • Familiarity with Investments process & trade flows.
  • Self-motivated
  • Have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as needed
  • Strong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams
  • Result oriented, accepting responsibilities and challenges that take them outside their comfort zone
  • Positive outlook and a desire to stretch themselves to achieve both personal and functional success.
  • Partners well with peers, subordinates, managers, and LOB and functional partners
  • Capability to manage and handle escalations by liaising with the internal & external stakeholders of the business.
  • Problem solving attitude with an eye for detail
Job Requirements
 
Competencies: 
  • Knowledge of Investment products.
  • Banking Operations experience required, Private Banking operations experience would be beneficial especially in Mutual Funds and/or Money Market Fund process
  • Control Oriented
  • Be able to drive positive changes, promote ownership and demonstrate "My business Mentality".
  • Client Focused & having Risk awareness
  • Knowledge about the securities market and different financial products
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
 
Education/Professional Qualifications:
  • Strong Academics background with approx 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
