The JPMorgan Chase Legal Department is responsible for providing legal services to the firm and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the firm’s lines of business and corporate staff areas. This structure encourages legal teams, businesses and staff areas to address legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and efficiently.
The Legal ReEntry Program is designed to reintegrate to the workforce attorneys who have taken time off from the practice of law. JPMorgan is seeking experienced and committed attorneys who successfully practiced law before taking time away from the profession to focus on otherpersonal responsibilities or priorities.
Eligible candidates will be selected to participate in a 10-12 week paid internship and training program in the JPMorgan Chase Legal Department in New York during the Fall of 2016. Offered in partnership with the law firm Morgan Lewis, the Program provides candidates critical training designed to facilitate a smooth transition and reintegration into the legal profession. At the end of the internship program, successful candidates will have the opportunity to be placed in a full-time position in the JPMorgan Chase Legal Department. The internship consists of skills training, networking, mentoring and quality legal assignments representative of assignments completed by experienced attorneys in a legal practice group.
