Job Description


·         Team Leader



  • Business Analytics team partners with Senior Management, Product Groups, Investor Relations and Business Risk Management to deliver the key business objectives for the year with focus on strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Team provides global analytic reporting vital to the day to day business and risk management to 16 different business units across the globe
  • Track allocation, inflow/outflow of cash/securities within the accounts. Perform Pre Trade Checks, highlight exceptions if any, enable GAP/PMG teams with the required information for them to approve/execute the trades.
  • Monitor Market Values, Inflow or Outflow of Funds for Advisory Programs, Structured Products, ETF’s and Mutual Funds at account, region and LOB level on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
  • Highlight accounts that need special attention because of Asset allocation exception, holding non-approved securities, concentrated investment in a single cusip, missing mandates and pending annual reviews.
  • Update various databases to enable online tools to show latest client positions and fund balances. Also, monitor usage of Performance reports published on Workstation on a Monthly basis.




Primary responsibility includes:

·         Producing Control & MIS reports in conjunction with overseas partners

·         Manage multiple financial analysis reporting deadlines with ability to analyze reports and a large amount of data. Develop, manage and analyze large databases of information with attention to detail. Ability to interface with various levels of management and operations

·         Analyze and validate the data. Coordinate with global business partners to correct and amend data issues within the reports/ databases.

·         Preparation of capacity & MIS reports for the team.

·         Driving the team towards process automation and high level synergy between the teams on either location

·         Review the KPI's and constantly work on providing a robust KPI for the team.

·         Checking the Risk & Control areas for the process and constantly updating the same for changes if any


Minimum qualifications

  • Degree (Bachelors OR Masters) in Commerce, Business Administration OR Fina006Ece

Minimum experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience with exposure to reporting and analytics
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, team player and hard working
  • Quick learner; proven ability to quickly learn the business, the application, and quickly adapt to ever changing priorities
  • Critical thinking to proactively identify and develop new ideas / innovations / approach that will add values to the business and the team
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
  • Ability  to understand and articulate business goals
  • Have an affinity or ability for systems thinking.
  • Control orientated and Risk awareness
  • Process/Ops Management Skills and experience
  • Computer Skills:  MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, MS Access, SQL Coding
  • Have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as needed
  • Strong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams
  • Result oriented, accepting responsibilities and challenges that take them outside their comfort zone
  • Positive outlook and a desire to stretch themselves to achieve both personal and functional success.
  • Understanding of financial markets (preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations
  • Understanding of troubleshooting client (internal/ external) experience issues and be able to quickly determine sensitivity to business risk
