The Client Service Manager will provide support to Institutional Alternative and Private Equity Managers serviced out of the New York office. S/he will develop ‘portal’ relationships with select clients; providing a strategic link between the diverse businesses within J.P. Morgan and the senior management of the client.
The Client Service Manager will:
 Represent J.P. Morgan’s Custody and Fund Services capabilities to current and prospective clients
 Actively monitor service delivery for all services/products to client
 Coordinate activities with the global integration, operation and front office teams based in the Americas, EMEA and APAC to manage client inquiries
 Understand client strategies and develop cross selling opportunities complementary with J.P. Morgan businesses
 Work with the client on new product and fund launches, service requirements and technology projects
 Proactive, with a focus on finding the optimum client solution, whilst working within J.P. Morgan parameters and controls
 Conduct periodic for client reviews and service meetings
 Drive the client’s agenda globally within J.P. Morgan and act as the escalation point for and coordinate resolution of cross product service delivery issues (Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, Compliance and Trust & Fiduciary)
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external parties (including CFO at client)
 Coordinate and strategically structure client communications
 Negotiate change management requests against internal priorities and client agreements



Qualifications:  Bachelor degree preferably in accounting, MBA/CPA preferred
 1-3 years of experience at a Hedge fund, Private Equity fund, Accounting firm, Fund Administration provider or other financial market organizations servicing clients is preferred
 Hedge and/or Private Equity Fund Services operations experience a plus
 Knowledge of Global Custody, Fund Administration, Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity and awareness of interdependencies of these products
 Energetic self starter, s/he will need to take initiative and operate with a degree of autonomy
 Strong organizational, project management and planning skill sets
 A sensitivity to compliance, control and operational risk is imperative
 S/he will interface daily with clients and must have the poise, experience and ability to build relationships. Confident presentation skills, persuasive verbal and written skills are a prerequisite for the success of this role.
 Proven ability to work closely with multiple product teams to ensure consistency of service delivery and client satisfaction levels
 An understanding of the major financial products: swaps, fixed income, equities, futures, options, currencies
 Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish a significant plus
