The Oversight & Control Reporting team is responsible for the collection, review, and presentation of information on a scheduled and ad hoc basis, and for driving key disciplines throughout the organization such as accuracy, efficiency, and consistency. The team liaises with information owners and key partners across the organization and across the firm (e.g., Compliance, Operational Risk, Regulatory Management, Audit, Lines of Business, and Technology) and designs and delivers timely, accurate and consistent information to management, compliance risk management governance committees and regulators.
The role described in this job specification is for an Analyst in Oversight & Control Group.
The Analyst is responsible for collection and consolidation of information and is accountable for the overall quality assurance and demand management for data and analytics. This role will involve interaction with control, risk and compliance officers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Aggregate data across lines of business/corporate functions/regions for reporting critical information
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
2+ years financial services industry experience, preferably in the Controls, Compliance, Audit or Risk environment.
Experience in the effective presentation / visualization of data and analytics.
Experience with Cognos reporting tools (creating and running reports).
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience.
Possess a working knowledge of banking operations, financial services and the current regulatory environment.
A high-level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
Proven ability to be able to multi-task, as well as assess and change priorities.
Able to deliver projects consistently, problem solve and think strategically under pressure.
