Financial Service Advisor - Direct Loan by Phone July 15, 2016

Job Description

The Loan by Phone advisor is responsible for receiving a high number of inbound calls from customers with inquiries on rates and status of applications. He/She will also be responsible for taking / entering accurate information for applications on a Direct Auto Loan and conveying decisions to the consumers.  Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Making outbound calls and taking inbound calls, with the ability to route misdirected calls to appropriate department 
  • Taking / entering an application 
  • Following required disclosure statement / scripting 
  • Conveying decisions to the consumers on approvals and declinations 
  • Answering customer product and process inquiries

Must meet minimum IJP Requirements
At least 12 months in current job and process
Latest Performance Management Central (PMC) rating of at least Meets Expectations
Not within the prescriptive period for attendance and/or  behavioral- related corrective action (written warning and above).
Not  in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at the time of application and prior movement to the role
Minimum skills and qualifications should be met as stated in the job posting


·         Must have excellent if not good attendance record

·         Must practice and promote JPMC's operating principles

·         Excellent spoken and written communication skills

·         Highly motivated, self starter who can complete functions with little supervision

·         Strong organization/time management skills and ability to prioritize

·         Ability to function well in a high volume environment and multi task

·         Adapts well to change and is a team-player, has the ability to achieve both individual and group goals

·         Must have good communication skills and telephone etiquette with a strong customer service focus.
