Departmental Description
Managing fiduciary activities is an integral part of our business. As such, the firmwide Fiduciary and Conflicts of Interest Program established a disciplined and structured approach to managing fiduciary activities and potential conflicts of interest. The bankwide fiduciary management operating model allows the firm to leverage the fiduciary expertise of the entire organization. The Central Team will work closely with all businesses and control functions to ensure a robust control environment and consistent management of fiduciary activities and potential conflicts of interest.
 
 
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in Program Management / Governance
    • Support execution of Central Team priorities
    • Assist in the production of materials, tracking of team deliverables, and follow-ups regarding the Fiduciary and Conflicts of Interest Advisory Council
    • Assist with communications and messaging for senior management and regulator forums
  • Support Fiduciary Program Activities
    • Assist in update of Fiduciary Inventory and Roles Map
    • Support of Job Based Training execution and oversight of fiduciary reference materials
  • Support the execution of the Firmwide Conflicts of Interest (COI) Framework across LOBs and Corporate Function
    • Assist in ongoing program activities
    • Resolve or escalate issues where necessary
  • Track Issues and Action Plans related to Fiduciary and COI Program
  • Assist in tracking the impact of other firmwide initiatives to the Fiduciary Framework
  • Manage key dependencies with other firmwide initiatives
  • Liaise with Compliance, Audit, Legal and Risk to share information, communicate project and program updates, and drive solutions as needed
  • Maintain relationship and open lines of communication across Corporate and impacted Program teams
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • High-potential individual looking to broaden business knowledge
    • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Process oriented
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize a large number of conflicting and frequently changing deliverables
    • Ability to think on their feet and be able to apply critical thinking and logical/structured framework to situations such as business case development and issue resolution
    • Easily adaptable, especially to a rapidly changing business environment
    • Proven track record of taking action above and beyond what is required
    • Inquisitive and proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions
    • Possess sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, and resourcefulness
    • Strong team player who is easy to work with, shows commitment and dedication to personal development, and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives

    Desirable Skills/Experience
    • Analyst/Associate within the business, strategy, controls or process improvements organization
    • Project management experience – ability to connect dots, multi-task, and execute upon several deliverables
