The Fixed Income Syndicate Desk brings new issues to market. It can be an extremely busy place to work particularly in periods of high volume. We are constantly engaged with Debt Capital Markets to ensure we deliver the very best to their Issuer Clients. The team is Private Side but sits on the spread trading floor to ensure that are able to work in close coordination with the Sales team who look after the end investors.
The Syndicate Desk can be an extremely busy place to work particularly in periods of high volume and the Syndicate Assistant manages the admin surrounding the deal so attention to detail and understanding of risk and regulations is key.
The desk is very hands on and works very closely as a team. The role sometimes demands direct support of each Syndicate Manager and is not simply defined by the above. There would certainly be scope going forward to take on more of the Secondary Job Responsibilities.
The opportunity is to join the support team.
· Handling all ticketing bookings for US deals
· Management of prospectus delivery process of all new issues syndicated by EMEA
· Assisting in booking roadshows
· Management and maintenance of Syndicate deal files including all Legal and Regulations record keeping
· Ad-hoc projects, reports and analysis
The role will be managing the administration surrounding a deal and so attention to detail and understanding of risk and regulations are key. There would be scope going forward, to take on more of the responsibility of reconciling and P&L bookings. The candidate needs to be able to cope well under pressure and be able to deal confidently with people of all levels in a number of different roles.

· Experience or understanding of the new issues process would be a plus
