CIB Operations - Shared Services - Dublin Cash Hub Manager - Assoc/VP – Dublin, Ireland

 The successful candidate will manage a Shared service function in the Dublin Ireland Location, supporting Cash Management function for multiple Business lines and Operational groups. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone with strong business or operational background, and who is interested in Cash Management and being involved in future state Cash Strategy across the CIB.   In addition to Team Manager Responsibilities and oversight of offshored Cash functions it is expected that the successful candidate will assume the role of Senior operational lead resource for Cash functions for the Dublin site.

The role requires the ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders in JPMorgan and get involved in Cash automation programs and Cash control re-engineering initiatives to reduce operational risk. The role also includes people management, and the successful candidate needs to be comfortable with interaction with Senior Stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Dublin Cash Hub Operations in line with regulations and firm’s internal policies including day to day oversight of Offshore Cash processing locations and units.
  • Exhibits full knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire cash operations function across multiple business lines
  • Ensure good control and compliance to corporate policies and regulatory requirements which are relevant to Cash Operations
  • Risk Management – local focus on controls, manual processing, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain teamwork and healthy working environment
  • Working as cross functional team with peers such as other Operations teams, Technology, Product, OCM; Treasury; Compliance, Offshore hubs.
  • Operations lead on cash automation projects to reduce risk; create efficiency and reduce operation cost
  • Review and approve transactions within established limits and obtain approval for those beyond the limits from higher management and ensure appropriate stratification in place.
  • Day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the oversight of execution of complex cash transactions
  • Coordination of Business Continuity Plan for Cash Hub and partner with WHEM and Offshore locations on building out follow the sun- model for processing in MBM and Front office in EMEA and WHEM.
  • Partner with other Locations and stakeholders in the build out of the CIB Cash Strategy future state model.
  • Keeps abreast of new regulations ,policies,  new/changes in applications and their implications for assigned area
  • The candidate will ensure that the appropriate information is received to monitor performance against Key Performance and Key Risk Indicators, working closely with onshore and offshore operational delivery teams
  • Ability to interact with Auditors and understanding of the RCSA process.
  • This is a controlled function role – CF10 as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland

Education:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

Your Background:

  • Exhibits full knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire cash operations function
  • Knowledge of cash management services and products including collections, payments, account structures, and liquidity management preferred
  • Strong project management capabilities; strong prioritization skills and an ability to deliver under pressure
  • Strong analytical / data analysis capabilities
  • Strong persuasion skills & ability to influence and perform virtual team management
  • Proven experience with enhancing existing processes / procedures
  • Proven ability to deal with key clients and senior management contacts
  • Strong team manager with the ability to set and maintain high standards
  • Attention to detail, Strong organizational skills with a heightened concern for quality & accuracy
  • Proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude
  • Very strong communication skills both oral and written; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional and proactive approach to work
  • Experience in Operations environment preferred. (eg Fund Accounting ; Transfer Agency ; Middle Office, etc)
  • Ability To Work In A Matrix Organization as function is a shared service

PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
