Custody and Fund Services Product Development defines, develops, delivers, and maintains market leading CFS products that enhance client satisfaction, support sustainable business growth and deliver positive shareholder value add (SVA) enabling J.P. Morgan CFS to be the provider of choice for Custody & Fund Services to large, global asset owners and asset managers.

 

Within the CFS Product Development team there is a requirement for a Project Manager to work on specific projects and initiatives in the Transfer Agency and Investor Relations area.

 

This role requires detailed knowledge of Transfer Agency / Investor Relations Shareholder register systems and Investor Web Portals.

 
 
Three Key Criteria
  • Experience working on Investor Relations / Transfer Agency projects space
  • Experience working in an Agile and Waterfall Project Management environments.
  • Fund Services Experience.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Take responsibility for a group of internal and/or external client projects simultaneously.
  • Under the Agile Project Methodology fulfil the role of Product owner for Transfer Agency / Investor Relations projects.
  • Manage multiple streams across business functions.
  • Manage the project team’s work and performance.
  • Provide Analysts and Test leads with direction and coaching when needed.
  • Consistent and professional approach to project management is essential with particular attention to the risk profile of the project delivery and subsequent operating model.


Qualifications
  • Significant experience within the Fund Services Projects space.
  • Bachelor's degree and a professional project certification, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
 

   Technical Competencies

  • Experience with Process Management, Analysis and Design methodologies.
  • Experience within Transfer Agency / Investor Relations Operations.
  • Experience with Transfer Agency Investor Relations systems a distinct advantage.
  • Experience with Fund Accounting systems a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with web reporting applications.
  • Experience leading or working within small groups on a specified outcome. 
  • Proactive, well organized, detail oriented, process strong decision making and ability and work independently. 
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyse complex business processes. 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational/planning skills
  • Logical and works well under pressure    
  • Good listening and questioning skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Must be comfortable in a matrix-management environment.
  • A 'can-do' attitude to all business challenges.

  • Superior communication skills both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in third party vendor management.
