Job Description:
Global Document Services (GDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase client collateral, including account statements, advices, payroll checks and tax forms. GBDS prepares over 100 million mail pieces and 1 million manual statements per month. In addition, GDS provides processing services for external customers. In the financial services industry, there is a competitive advantage when technology is developed and maintained in a cooperative and synergistic way throughout the enterprise.

Global Document Services provides business partners with complete, low-cost, high quality output solutions by leveraging our operating infrastructure and resources in servicing our external customers.

The Business Process Analyst will be required to define and lead tactical plans for high-visibility conversion and system enhancement projects for GDS. This role will manage customer expectations, make complex decisions and hold others accountable for quality and deadlines. The Business Process Analyst must also create and encourage a learning environment through ongoing process improvement.


  • Support medium to large and moderate to complex projects from initiation through implementation, including phases such as planning, detailed requirements analysis, and design development.
  • Serve as the GDS Project Manager on Enterprise Release Projects. Includes Requirements Gathering, Scope Definition, Design/Build Management, Testing and Implementation of Enterprise Release Projects impacting GDS.
  • Closely track and manage project timelines to within defined ranges, monitor project progress, and adjust resources and priorities accordingly to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Establish and manages to detailed requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Manage and track progress against project plans, financial reports, status reports, issues logs.
  • Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigating activities, and escalate risks and exposures to next level of management when appropriate.
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports and presentations for assigned projects.
  • Resolve project conflicts effectively by making timely decisions and/or negotiating with affected areas to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with core and extended project team members, stakeholders, peers.
  • 5+ years of functional project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience using a structured project management methodology
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with creating process map (with Visio or similar tool)
  • Experience with 24/7 customer support environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to adapt tools and processes to client's needs and changing expectations
  • Bachelor's degree and professional project certification preferred
