The Role - Product Delivery – On-boarding Specialist

As a Product Delivery On-boarding Specialist you will be responsible for design and coordinating the implementation of on-boarding related activities for our clients and funds. Requiring a self-motivated individual, the role will need to balance the demands of the business and time to market, versus implementing change in a controlled and auditable manner.

 

The role exists as part of a wider product delivery team with varied requirements.  There will also be the need to support and lead additional projects and new business initiatives where demand dictates.  Examples include on-boarding investment accounts, new operating model design, account structure changes and any necessary coordination requirements for liquidations, closures and end service provider changes (i.e. Custodian changes).

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • To provide operational and transitional support/coordination services for new business initiatives as proposed by Product Developers, Client Account Managers and Investment Desks

  • Produce relevant initiative documents, including but not exclusive to: on-boarding checklists, account opening data, product specifications, project plans and any other related on-boarding documents as required.

  • Issue resolution – undertake effective issue management practice, look to resolve initiative delivery issues and escalate to the Product Delivery Manager as appropriate

  • Co-ordinate and deliver relevant operational tasks and functions required for successful delivery of the initiative

  • Effective communication and regular reporting to the Product Delivery Manager

  • Wishlist coordination and distribution – Pre-trade compliance checks, and interaction with internal investment teams and external teams (e.g. Third party Transition Managers as appointed by Client)

  • Coordinate and chair Front Office/transition meetings, duly documented and actions followed to completion

  • Complete account closure processes and track status

  • Coordinate custody account changes

  • Weekly meetings/conference calls with all key stakeholders  involved in on-boarding activities

  • Work within a flexible manner, willingness to undertake additional ad hoc operational tasks as required for the successful delivery of an initiative

  • Liaise with external parties as appropriate for the successful delivery of the initiative, such as (list is not exclusive to) Consultants, Custodians, Transfer Agents, Outsourced service providers, Incumbent/Receiving Transition Managers/Asset managers and other external parties as required

PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
