Job Description – Luxembourg Technology Lead

 

Summary:

Part of the CIB Global Branches, responsible for the implementation and the management of processes and procedures relating to the oversight of IT activities performed by JPMBL.  The role interacts closely with the line of business, outsourcing governance, GTI, CIB Technology,  STOs, Technology Control Officers and the Information Security Officer to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements for the location and the internal JPMC control policies.

 

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

 

IT Oversight Management

Develop, Maintain and enhance the Luxembourg IT Governance:

  • Coordinate IT Governance meetings
  • Oversight and Tracking of IT projects impacting JPMBL
  • IT Governance Meeting communications & bulletin boards
  • Track action items raised in the IT governance forums through to completion
  • Review Outsourced technology Audit  or risk reports that have an impact on Luxembourg
  • Review and approval or ITSM changes that directly impact Luxembourg
  • Provide technology  metrics and escalate location technology challenges to Western Europe STO
  • Represent the IT function in the Inter Affiliate Servers (IAS) program ensuring regulatory compliance requirements are adhered too.
  • Represent the Luxembourg IT PAD on the global Pre-authorized Documented Production Activity (PDPA) meeting and approve Luxembourg impacting changes as appropriate.
  • In the absence of the Information Security Officer process any security event monitoring (SEM) alerts that are received into the JPMBL IT Governance mailbox.

 

SharePoint site for:

  • Maintain calendar of upcoming technology with potential impact to JPMBL & JPMAME
  • Ensure accurate archiving of regulatory documents in a central repository (governance SharePoint site) and maintain JPMBL / JPMAME IT Governance mailboxes

Documentation & Processes

  • Assure an evergreen process around all documentation relating to the outsourced vendor s
  • Standardisation of oversight documentation of outsourcing
  • Develop and maintain outsourcing oversight documents and processes 
  • Monitoring progress in the implementation of new IT outsourcing and change in scope to ensure the Luxembourg oversight remains
  • Ensure  that IT Service Level Documents are fully updated, re-viewed  on an annual basis and in place for all outsourced applications/services
  • Responsible for developing and implementing document oversight processes and procedures, in order to meet internal compliance and Luxembourg regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to help co-ordinate responses for all enquiries (from Risk, Legal, Audit, Compliance etc) regarding  documentation and oversight
  • Organise and maintain a consolidated map of all the IT Outsourced functions and keep record of all off-shored activities and the associated project charters
  • Benchmark and evaluate existing document control practices, identify gaps, develop and track the associated remediation plan
  • Perform self-assessment of non critical controls  and raise action plans in the Luxembourg location accordingly
  • Review Disaster Recovery performance of  Outsourced activities

 

Management Reporting / Miscellaneous

  • Owner of location reporting, KPI and metrics
  • Ensure that the correct controls are in place and that accurate KPIs/KRIs are implemented  to monitor performance of off-shored activities
  • Follow up with service providers on areas of non compliance in regards to the SLAs

 Project/Program Management

  • Project management of projects impacting the branch such as regulatory changes and implementations

All internal moves will normally take place on the same grade and same salary. Salaries are reviewed annually in February. Exceptions to the rule regarding transfer on current salary may include a move between geographic locations.
