Project Manager I (Mortgage Banking)

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct project activities following MB Resource Strategy & Execution (RS&E) Migrations Model to ensure seamless transition of functions with high quality results within defined timeframe taking ownership for from Project Kick off to completion

  • Responsible for overall project planning coordination, tracking, and status reporting

  • Ensure that the project management techniques and processes conform to corporate standards (Project Delivery Framework)

  • Resolve conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision making competencies within the resources (direct or indirect) assigned to the project effort.

  • As RS&E member, will manage the end to end process of assigned projects to deliver key work streams in migrating work from the donor to receptor site

  • Will mobilize key stakeholders closely partner with HR Recruitment, Training Team, Site Strategy while completing critical work stream deliverables of the project

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Project Management related position

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven ability to deliver projects on-time, in budget, and with high quality

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels

  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

  • Problem resolution

  • Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel functions

  • With excellent written and oral communication skills

At least 12 months in current job and process
Latest Performance Management Central (PMC) rating of at least Meets Expectations
Not within the prescriptive period for attendance and/or  behavioral- related corrective action (written warning and above).
Not  in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at the time of application and prior movement to the role
Minimum skills and qualifications should be met as stated in the job posting
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline strongly preferred. 
  • 1-3 years Mortgage Banking background preferred. 
  • Has strong attention to details and problem solver; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work efforts
  • Adapts well to increasing scope and complexity of work brought on by business growth and easily adapts to changes in the environment
