Regional Cash Management Manager

Job Description

Position Summary: 
Cash Management Business Banking serves the cash flow needs of businesses with annual revenue between $500,000 and $20 million. The Regional Cash Management Manager (RCMM) is responsible for managing a team of CMC/CMSS and SA in identifying, proposing and delivering appropriate Cash Management products and solutions to customers and prospects. The RCMM plays a key role in the field organization. Customers, prospects, partners and team members look to the RCCM as their trusted Cash Management advisor. The RCMM demonstrates leadership with their direct reports and fostering a strong partnership with key market partner to drive results in alignment with strategic objectives.  The RCCM strives to deliver an exceptional client experience while mitigating risk and appropriately advising and directing the team
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (In order of Importance)
  • Drives, leads, and manages a regional team of CMC/CMSS and SAs to drive the development of new profitable Cash Management business while maintaining and growing the existing portfolio.
  • Provides coaching and development to ensure successful performance including, partner management, team development and personal coaching. Focuses on the success of each team member, including support and development of career progression.
  • Monitors and drives staff performance. Provides appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback to foster success.
  • Fosters open communications with team members. Escalates and champions issues and communications appropriately to key stakeholders. 
  • Develops and collaborates with internal key partners to drive results. 
  • Understands and supports strategic objectives and initiatives. Develops and drives market and team performance in line with strategic objectives and initiatives.  
  • Displays strong knowledge and application of data. Drives for financial results by effectively utilizing tools and reports
  • Performs as a valued member of the lead team. Demonstrates strong participation and provides appropriate suggestions, ideas and feedback to management.  Engages in initiatives.  Delivers on requests timely and accurately, within deadlines. 
  • Protects the firm by applying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates behaviors and attitudes consistent with professional expectations of this position.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Experience / Knowledge:
    • Seven+  years experience in Cash Management Marketing or related business experience
    • Seven + years of Cash Management expert product/solution knowledge
    • Three + years of management experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
    • Certified Treasury Professional certified or has ability to obtain certification
  • Competencies
    • Relationship Building – Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners. Ability to influence those outside of direct management control.  Ability to develop and build relationships with senior executives.
    • Marketing Expertise – Ability to direct the team to leverage expert knowledge to proactively and creatively present solutions to clients and prospects. Ability to assist with key customer and prospect calls.
    • Performance Measurement - Ability to manage and direct staff and deliver all facets of performance management (coaching, career mobility, reviews, action plans, etc.)
    • Leadership and Support – Ability to direct and guide a team of managers to accomplish objectives.  Ability to provide strong leadership across a geographically dispersed team, provide business guidance and support.
    • Problem Solving – Ability to identify a problems root cause and drive to resolution.  Ability to direct escalations and ensure follow through.  Ability to identify global problems and partner with internal teams for resolution.
Business Acumen – Ability to understand the overarching Cash Management business environment both internally and externally. Ability to drive business results in alignment with strategic objectives.   Ability to drive and manage process and controls
