Senior Analyst - Global Finance - Asset Management - Client Reporting

Job Description

The Client Reporting team is part of the Institutional Asset Management group within J.P. Morgan Asset Management and is responsible for producing and delivering custom and standard monthly and quarterly investment performance reports to Institutional investors throughout the US, as well as maintaining product information on various consultant databases to support the Consultant Sales team.
 
Team is responsible for completion of monthly and quarterly customized reporting commitments for clients and consultants, preparing fund factsheets and other custom reports, as well as answer ad-hocs. The team supports various asset classes like Fixed Income, Equities, Solutions, Currencies etc.
 
Your primary responsibilities would include -  
  • Complete all assigned reporting commitments for answering customized questionnaires for clients and consultants for the Global Fixed Income Business
  • Complete ad-hocs, prepare fund factsheets and other custom reports as assigned
  • Ensure adherence of procedures to complete task in timely manner
  • Maintain high level of accuracy for each request
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and efficient manner with multiple teams
  • Liaise with various teams to gather client / fund information as required
  • Maintain query emails on the team mailbox and respond to queries
  • Assisting other team members with various tasks, including reviews of the tasks completed; provide training to junior colleagues
  • Assisting the team in maintaining existing reporting procedures, tools and workflows necessary to facilitate the process
  • Maintaining a high level of competency when reviewing data and reports, and quickly identifying both data and format issues
  • Support all aspects improvement of the Reporting processes, including opportunities to build efficiency and enhanced control measures
Qualification
  • MBA / Graduate with 6+ years of experience in financial / client service / reporting industry
  • Conceptual understanding of the Fixed Income terminologies & markets would be preferable
  • Detailed and meticulous, high level of accuracy with no tolerance for error
  • Strong workflow management skill, able to handle high volumes
  • Strong verbal and Written communication skills
  • Strong team player and must have the capability to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams
  • Proactive, creative and flexible
  • Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities
  • Control orientated and Risk awareness is essential
  • Understand Operational Risks to reduce Risk Profile
Technical Skill Sets:
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good working knowledge in Adobe
