CIB - Synthetic Prime Middle Office - Associate - London

Job Description

The Equity Swap MO team provides operational support for both Equities and Fixed Income synthetic activity within Prime Brokerage, working with the business to provide a seamless and integrated experience to our clients. The successful candidate will join a client facing team of 12 people who are primarily responsible for the daily operational activities interfacing with external clients as well as key internal stake holders including Front Office, Product Development, Product Control, Client Service, Sales, Corporate Actions, and Technology. There are continual opportunities to assist with a variety of initiatives and process change projects in this developing team.
 
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include;
  • Single point of contact for all assigned Clients
  • Trade matching, allocation and exception handling
  • Cashflow management for lifecycle payments of client swaps
  • Managing clients queries, ensuring they are investigated and resolved in a timely fashion
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Communication of open issues to the client and Client Service Rep in a clear and concise manner ensuring a full understanding of the issue.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the relevant partners to deliver to the business.
  • Conduct Quarterly review of all client accounts
  • Client visits
  • MIS and Trend analysis for root cause and issue resolution
