As a Technology Operations Analyst in JPMorgan Chasse & Co you will be expected to articulate the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and understand when to escalate issues.  You will also provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue. You will be expected to deliver project and process documentation for small-to medium-scale projects and drive compliance with structured Project Delivery Process as well as ensure information controls, back-up and recovery strategies are in place across all environments.
As a Technology Operations Analyst you will be part of a wider team that provides a desktop support function to the business from 8:30am to 7:00pm Mon-Fri and acts as a technical escalation point for business users.  You will also be involved in Incident Management, Asset Management and Hardware deployment\decommission\disposal.
Your responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Media Management - hard disk handling & controls
  • Data cabling
  • Fulfilment of end user service requests
  • Compliance with all risk policies & self assessments
  • Compliance with all data security policies
  • Compliance with all technology procedures
  • Completion of daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly checks
  • Delivery of local technology projects
To be successful in this role you will need to provide evidence of the following skills and experiences:
  • Good English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience in IT, service management in a banking environment (including quality, incident & change management)
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or above
  • Experience in preparation of technical documentation and procedures.
  • Project management: ability to work within the project team when required and meet deadlines.
  • Governance/Oversight/Control mindset
  • It would be an advantage if you had any of the following skills:
  • Wintel Server V 2003 & 2008 & 2012 experience
  • Unix/Linux
  • SharePoint
  • SAN/NAS Technology
  • MS-SQL & Oracle database support
  • Trading Voice Technology knowledge (IPC)
  • Understand─▒ng of network concepts
