As part of the Global Credit Middle Office (GCMO) team, the GCMO Regulatory Projects team works in a dynamic operating environment, reviewing changing regulations and designing compliant, controlled and timely solutions. The team partners closely with CIB Project teams, Technology, Legal, Middle Office, Compliance and the Business to understand changing regulations, the impact on the business model, how we will comply and ensure appropriate controls and oversight and on-going change management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure team’s adherence to all departmental controls and procedures in timely manner
  • Drive strategic change to improve processes and tighten controls
  • Lead strategic projects across Middle Office
  • Ensure accurate capture of transactions and trade events into risk management and processing systems
  • Promote a control culture to ensure the team accurately captures all transactions into the risk management and processing systems
  • Understand key risks and associated control points on the transaction lifecycle
  • Build and maintain relationships with Front Office, Risk Management and other Middle Offices.
  • Deliver projects related to all of the above


  • Operations/Middle Office Management Experience is a must
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster strong relationship with Front Office
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thought process
  • Numerical aptitude
  • Ability to quickly grasp new features/products in a complex/unstructured environment
  • Self-starter and ability to work under limited supervision
  • A keen eye for attention to detail
  • Good time management & multi-tasking skills.
  • Good relationship building skills and ability to deal with counterparts at all levels

PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
