Business Development Representative, Direct - Vancouver, BC

Job Description

SUMMARY:
The BDR directly generates revenue by selling products and services to new and current users within an assigned territory through direct, face-to-face contact. Reports to a Territory Manager. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.       Sells products/services to new and/or current customers in an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives:
• Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine product/services needs and performs sales presentations to match company's products with identified needs.
• Sells products through face-to-face contact.
• Remains knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts.
• Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
2.       Provides follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided.
3.       May assist sales and sales support representatives as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management in lieu of degree.
• Requires one to two years of sales or business development experience. 
• Good selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Paymentech's products and pricing practices or payment processing industry experience preferred.
• Must be located in Vancouver, BC and open to 50% travel.
