We’re looking for someone who is first and foremost a developer who lives and breathes code and wants to work with like-minded people. As a technical leader, your passion for technology and desire for continuous improvement will inspire those around you. This is a great opportunity to work in a small, focused Agile team taking stories from start to finish to deliver high quality software in an iterative and incremental manner.
Strong hands-on core Java 1.6 and above and associated technologies (Spring), or extensive experience in other OO languages and a desire to learn Java.
Experience of working with multi-threaded code.
Distributed platforms and underlying messaging technologies (e.g. JMS, MQ, AMQP, Mule ESB)
XML (XSLT, XSD, XQuery)
Desire to work in an Agile team (Scrum or Kanban utilising TDD, BDD, CI, pair programming etc.)
NoSql (preferably Marklogic)
