Description
This position is Senior Business Analyst who would perform strong analysis, document the overall requirements and deliver systems requirements for Regulatory projects for FICC Technology. In this role, the candidate is expected to understand MIFID 2 regulations by reviewing the regulatory bulletins and working with internal Business, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Regulatory officers. The candidate is expected to work across the teams aligned to various functions in order to provide comprehensive and robust solutions for MIFID2 regulatory requirement for FICC line of business. The role also requires strong Project Management of overall technology implementation for FICC business.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Business stakeholders (including Front office users) to drive solutions for MIFID2
  • Partner with the Regulatory leads from Business/compliance/CAO/Technology function to fully understand the requirements of new MIFID2 requirements.
  • Document business requirements, system specifications and business processes and participate in translation of them into technical specifications (functional/non-functional).
  • Document detailed use cases for each phase of the project.  Conduct review sessions with technology and project teams to ensure that all scenarios are understood and supported.
  • Partner with Operations users to ensure that the requirements from front office, middle office and back office are reviewed and validated and detailed functional requirements are documented.
  • Work closely with Sales and trading technology team to ensure that regulatory functional requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Work with the overall MIFID2 Delivery team to understand nuances and similarities across lines of business and ensure that no duplicate solutions are built across the business lines.
  • Work with the overall MIFID2 governance team, to define and adhere to the common implementation governance standards
  • Defining Testing approach, producing test cases when required and working closely with QA and Development teams
  • Assist in the creation of user training presentations. Provide status update to key stakeholders within business and technology.

Qualifications
  • Strong Business analysis skills in finance industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce detailed functional specifications, use cases
  • Strong organizational skills to track and communicate progress and issues
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity to MIFID2 and other regulatory initiatives (MIFID1, SEC, MAR, DTCC, EMIR etc.)
  • Experience with Project Management tools, Document repositories like SharePoint, Confluence etc. are mandatory
  • Quick learner and be able to multi-task across multiple initiatives
  • Proactive independent thinker
  • Strong Domain Knowledge of Fixed Incomes, Rates, Commodities, Currency business
  • Previous experience of delivering large regulatory projects in BA/PM capacity is highly desirable
  • Knowledge in SQL is desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of Logical Data Modeling, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Information Architecture is desirable
PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANNUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
