The Business Function - Investment Management, European CS & BP, UK Product Delivery

The UK Product Delivery team is responsible for managing the on-boarding of new Institutional Clients, JPMorgan Funds and other initiatives, including asset transition events( primarily in EMEA but also globally) , new markets and new instruments approvals.  The purpose of the team is to provide a dedicated and professional product solution and delivery service across our global operating platforms.

 

The UK Product Delivery team interfaces directly with senior representatives from Product Development, Investment Desks, Client Account Manager, Operations and our overseas offices. 

 

The UK Product Delivery Team reports into the EMEA Head of Client Services and Business Platforms (CS&BP). 

 

The Role - Product Delivery Manager, VP (Based in London) 

As a Product Delivery Manager you will be a senior representative of the UK Product Delivery Team of between 5-10 in either the Institutional or Funds team (depending one experience).

This is a high profile role with daily interaction to senior representatives from the Equity, Solutions, Fixed Income & Currency Investment Desks, Client Account Management, EMEA Product Development, Control Functions - Risk, Compliance, Oversight & Controls & Legal Groups, and Operational Senior Managers.

 

Requiring a self-motivated individual, the role will need to balance the demands of the Client, the business and time to market, versus implementing change in a controlled and auditable manner. The Product Delivery Manager will have an in-depth knowledge of Transition Management and our Product range and provide an escalation point for the team to offer guidance and support. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • People management, including coaching, training, mentoring and career development for team members.
  • Proactively be aware of industry changes / regulations/ departmental issues / initiatives / services and be able to discuss and present to a senior audience

  • Represent Product Delivery at Senior Forums

  • Provide Operational consultancy and analysis of new business opportunities and transition events with Client Service Teams, Product Developers and Investment Desks

  • Working with the business to identify solutions for the enhancement, development and implementation of scalable and robust operating models, ensuring alignment to strategic business initiatives and global partners

  • Stakeholder management - effective communication and regular status reporting to key business stakeholders

  • Key member of management team deciding departmental strategy and objectives

 Essential Experience

  • Experience at an Asset Management firm; background in Custody or Asset Transitions Management experience preferred.
  • Previous people management experience
  • IMC certificate preferred.
