Digital Analytics - Sr. Data Analyst

Digital Analytics team is responsible for measuring the success of the digital offerings and identifying and prioritizing enhancements to the customer experience.  The team is also on point to support ad hoc analytics for Digital Product, Customer Experience, executives, and cross bank line of business partners.

 

Digital Analytics team is seeking a Behavioral Analyst. As a Behavioral Analyst, the resource will work on analyzing customer behavior across all digital channels – Web, Mobile & Other. Work as a member of a cross-functional team that supports various efforts to improve the customer’s digital experience. Will be responsible for digging into various types of data, deep-dives to identify areas of friction and delivering actionable recommendations. It is imperative the resource brings the data to life through storytelling and data visualization. This role will report directly to the Behavioral Analytics Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead & mentor analysts and architects on the behavioral analytics team.

·        Analyze large volumes of cross-channel customer data to gain Insight and identify opportunities for improvement. (Web, Mobile, Transactional & Other)

·        Synthesize data into actionable recommendations.

·        Communicate data findings through engaging stories that are easy to understand.

  • Partner closely with teams such as Product, transactional and feedback analysts and support/address their analytical needs.

·        Support reporting and dash-boarding efforts that measure established KPIs pre and post digital enhancements.

  • Drive the analytics data collection and measurement efforts by translating the lines-of-business requirements into reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and document data collection, implementation & reporting standards for any new development efforts/site functions.
  • Effectively develop custom dataset configurations, metrics and dimensions to address analysis questions within Adobe Insight to meet business objectives.
  • Build and support custom datasets within Adobe Insight for ad-hoc analytics in a fast paced environment.
  • Provide consistent updates on the status of progress/issues, risks and concerns to digital analytics management.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business/data analysis experience required, preferably in a financial reporting environment with an emphasis on digital/customer analytics

·        3+ years of experience working with online and mobile technologies

·        3+ years experience with SAS/Greenplum, R, Web Analytics and/or other data mining tools

·        2+ years experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos and/or other BI tools

·        2+ years experience in transforming qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations and KPIs

·        1+ years experience interacting with product, marketing, and/or customer experience teams

·        1+ years of Architect level experience with Adobe Insight (Data Workbench).

·        Any Tag Management tool experience is a plus

  • An understanding of social media trends and changes in the digital products/services space

·        Knowledge of Database Programming Languages for SQL, Oracle, & DB2

·        Proficient in use of standard office software - MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.

  • Proven critical and strategic thinker - Ability to understand all available information, synthesize, and communicate a proposed solution clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and client partnership capability.
  • Strong understanding and interest in the data lifecycle from collection to consumptions to action.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree with equivalent work experience in Analytics/Business Intelligence fields. (Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline)

 

Special consideration will be given for: 

·        Any previous experience working with Adobe Insight or similar tools.

·        Certified Adobe Insight Architect / Analyst.
