Application Developer Associate Role – JP Morgan Risk Technology
This role is for an experienced software developer in the Market Risk Technology Team in Glasgow who will contribute to the development and design of the bank’s global Risk Reporting systems and architecture working closely with the business users, business analysts and technology to develop our existing Market Risk Reporting platform and associated strategic reporting projects.
Responsibilities will include
Application development and testing.
Participation in design reviews and technical design documentation.
Adherence to software development lifecycle and practices.
Implementation of Unit and Integration tests.
Engagement with business and technical teams to understand requirements and technical specifications.
Participation in code reviews.
Ability to contribute and work independently.
Production support of applications.
Interaction with business users and business management.
Technical Skills Proficiency in one of following are required:
Cascading Style Sheets
Client UI Developer:
User experience design
Preferred skills and Experience
Familiarity with Software Development Process
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to absorb complex ideas quickly
Additional Skills preferred but not required
Market Risk knowledge
Previous experience in Investment Banking/Financial services
Experience working on Agile projects
