Background
Asset Management - Risk team in Bangalore is looking for an Application Support Analyst to provide monitor and support Risk Applications with Asset Management.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be initially responsible for monitoring overnight batches and ensuring batch completion with in SLA and systems availability 24/7 in production.
The candidate will be expected to show strong analytical and problem solving abilities and participate in resolving day to day production issues which include resolution of data quality issues, investigations into system functionality, responding to system alerts, business queries, report requests & feed loading errors in production.
The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with the application development team by deploying code, running batches, trouble shooting issues in Test and QA environment, coordinating and scheduling releases, etc.
It is also expected to automate any manual tasks and bring new ideas to increase efficiency and productivity of the team.
Must have Skills 
1. Proven experience working in an application support environment
2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Motivated self-starter
5. Very good SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
6. Good Scripting knowledge in UNIX Shell/Perl
7. Flexible to learn new tools and Technologies.
8. Basic Java/J2EE knowledge
 
Good to have Skills
1. Working knowledge on Informatica.
2. Experience in Finance Domain
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have 5 – 8 years experience in a Client Support environment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a must, database/data investigation is frequently required.
  • Strong analytical, logical, technical and problem solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of customer support principles and must be able to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Technical as well as Functional proficiency in order to facilitate investigations between the business, various levels of support, and application development teams.
     
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have 5 – 8 years experience in a Client Support environment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a must, database/data investigation is frequently required.
  • Strong analytical, logical, technical and problem solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of customer support principles and must be able to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Technical as well as Functional proficiency in order to facilitate investigations between the business, various levels of support, and application development teams.
