UI/UX Developer - Associate - Bournemouth

Job Description

Candidates will be expected to perform the AngularJS/D3 UI development of the real-time Intraday Liquidity (IDL) platform.  The IDL platform is responsible for continuously aggregating Transactions and Balances from multiple statement, ledger, payment and settlement systems in order to calculate, visualize, and monitor critical metrics relating to JPMorgan’s (Cash) Liquidity, Credit Utilization, and Collateral balances and flows.
The role will require proficiency in all aspects of Agile sprint based development, including:
  • Working directly with Product Owners to refine and estimate stakeholder requirements
  • Executing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) together with Continuous Integration in order to produce a Production ready Release Candidate every two weeks.
  • Designing solutions in a collaborative manner and in line with defined principles
  • Participation in a rota to provide 24/7 third line application support and to perform weekend releases
Essential Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Javascript, CSS and HTML, MVC
  • Experience with AngularJS and related libraries
  • Experience with visualization libraries, especially D3, C3, flot
  • Experience with Javascript tools such as grunt and less
  • Extensive experience with UI and UX design
  • Extensive experience with UI test automation
  • Experience with multi-tier web applications
Desirable (but not essential) Technical Skills:
  • Some knowledge and experience of Java
  • Understanding of Websockets and async  programming
  • Experience with Spring Framework and Spring MVC
  • Experience with Git, shell scripting, Jenkins

  • A high degree of attention to detail and a keen focus on quality UI implementation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
