CIB - Operations Manager - Vice President - Bangalore

Job Description

About the Readiness Delivery Manager role
The Readiness delivery manager will be accountable for working with all core project partners from Technology, Operations and the CIB Product and Coverage teams. The majority of this focus will centre around:
  • Ensuring a tailored training plan is developed, deployed and tracked across key areas in partnership with the global training team
  • Building and developing key relationships across the entire lifecycle of the delivery process from core tech to the SCPP team to the end user global community
  • Partnering with Tech and various Risk teams to ensure all internal and external control requirements are identified and met
  • Securing and managing engagement with the various internal groups to ensure the above items are closed off to audit standards using the teams standard set of frameworks
 


 

 
This will be underpinned by the following duties:
  • Ensure adherence to the broader global and regional Readiness teams
  • Adhere to global Readiness standards and tools
  • Strong information sharing and working co-ordination/harmony with other Readiness teams
  • Understand critical milestones and manage the associated deliverables in the Readiness space 
  • Be responsible for reporting updates to the programme as required
  • Assist in shaping and collating presentations to Senior Management
  • Ensure all risks to Readiness are identified and managed
  • Manage risks/issues/assumptions/dependencies using the Action Log, Ops Scorecard and PQSA
  • Define, collate and track key metrics that highlight progress to date using the above artefacts
Soft Skill Requirements
  • A good understanding of Global Custody, Cash Clearing and Treasury/Finance functions
  • Strong project creation and management skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to drive positive and definitive outcomes..
  • Strong change management skills.
  • An ability to articulate the strategic impact of changes being made to the business.
  • Strong risk management/mitigation skills.
  • Must have extensive experience of leading/working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Must have extensive experience in client migration.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills.
  • A deep understanding of the business and technology.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree, professional project certification, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong self-starter with expert time and task management skill ability
  • Able to travel as/if needed
