Business Description

The Client Information & Documentation (CID) team manages and supports Account Setup, Maintenance, Closures, Static Data Maintenance and Entitlements activities for our clients and regional service teams located in APAC, EMEA and WHEM. The CID team is split between Bangalore & Manila. We come under the CIB line of business and are a part of wider 4000+ staff operating out of Mumbai, Bangalore and Manila.

The WSS Client Account & Entitlements Utility team (CAEU) in India is a 90+ member team supporting Account Setup, Maintenance, Closures, Static Data Maintenance and Entitlements activities for our clients and regional service teams located in APAC, EMEA and WHEM. The CAEU team is split between Mumbai & Bangalore. We come under the Treasury & Securities Services line of business and are a part of wider 4000+ staff operating out of Mumbai, Bangalore and Manila.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

The Process Manager will work closely with JPMorgan partners (i.e., service, ops, and sales). The broad responsibilities are as listed below

1.   Managing a team of xx staff (MBM) made up of cross functional utilities supporting WSS clients. The activities supported are related to Account Set Up, Maintenance, Closures, and Static Data Maintenance and Entitlements activities for our clients and regional service teams located in APAC, EMEA and WHEM.

2.   Publish MIS/Performance score-cards to senior management on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis.

3.   Analyze query trends and engage product service groups in grass-roots discussions to mitigate such issues at a basic level. Also drive process improvement initiatives with these groups to ensure flawless delivery to Clients

4.   Participate in various department and team projects to exceed Client expectations.

5.   Responsible to manage KPIs and KRIs for the team and ensure that the team operates in a highly disciplined and controlled environment

6.   Need to work with multiple stakeholders and teams globally. It is important for the candidate to have excellent communication skills and the ability to build a very good rapport with the stakeholders locally and around the globe

7.   Work with AVP/VP in formulizing departmental goals, working out strategies to meet business goals and for successful execution of these strategies.

8.   Duties and tasks are mostly non-routine, requiring experience to successfully accomplish tasks.  Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.

9.    Proposes and implements procedures to deliver to clients, organizes workflow and processing activities, determines department structure and ensures resource allocation.

10.  Sets up team meetings to review/address client concerns and opportunities.  

11.  In an individual contributor role, functions as a key contributor with demonstrated knowledge of area of specialization.

12.  Responsible for effectively managing staff and assisting in employee development & employee retention strategies.

13.  Work closely with the AVP/VP as well as the Team leaders to ensure flawless service delivery to franchise clients.

 

 

Qualifications

 

·       Graduates (BCOM/BMS) / CA’s/ MBA’s in JPM with four to six years of experience.

·       Knowledge on the capital markets & custody operation is a must.

·   Excellent organization & time management skills. Should exercise good judgment in prioritizing client deliverables.

·       Has to be extremely client-focused and result-oriented in approach.

·       Should be a quick learner and should possess excellent Analytical skills.

·       Excellent People Management skills.

·       Effective communication, negotiation & conflict handling is mandatory.

·       Should understand the big picture and think out of the box to resolve client problems.

·       Maintain composure in stressful situations.

·       Ready to work in any shift

 

 

IJP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

a) TENURE: At least 12 months in current job and process

b) PERFORMANCE RATING: Latest Performance Management Central (PMC) rating of at least Meets Expectations,

unless otherwise stated in the job qualifications. Basis will be both at the point of application and transfer.

c) CORRECTIVE ACTION: Not within the prescriptive period for attendance and/oral behavioral- related corrective action

(written warning and above).

d) PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN: Not in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at the time of application

and prior movement to the role

e) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum skills and qualifications should be met as stated in the job posting
