The Business Function - Investment Management, European Product Delivery

 

The UK Product Delivery team is responsible for managing the on-boarding of new Clients and JPMorgan Funds and other initiatives, including asset transitions, primarily in EMEA but also globally.  The purpose of the team is to provide a dedicated and professional product solution and delivery on to global operating platforms.

 

 

The Role - Product Delivery - Transitions Specialist 

 

As a Product Delivery Transitions Specialist you will be responsible for design and coordinating the implementation of transition related activities for our clients and funds. You will provide a dedicated and professional analysis for the implementation of asset transfers while working closely with internal investment teams and external teams (e.g. Third party Transition Managers as appointed by Client). 

 

Requiring a self-motivated individual, the role will need to balance the demands of the business and time to market, versus implementing change in a controlled and auditable manner.

 

The role requires existing knowledge or at a minimum, awareness of, the market nuances for asset transfers deemed CBO/NCBO.

 

The role exists as part of a wider product delivery team with varied requirements.  There will also be the need to support and lead additional projects and new business initiatives where demand dictates.  Examples include onboarding investment accounts, new operating model design, account structure changes and any necessary coordination requirements for liquidations, closures and end service provider changes (i.e. Custodian changes).

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate asset transfers and business initiatives as proposed by Client (via Client Account Managers) and Investment Desks

  • Provide strong technical and market knowledge around associated market nuances

  • Provide solutions for transfer of derivative products

  • In specie activity costing, planning, preparation, implementation

  • Coordination of Custodian changes

  • Wish list coordination and distribution – compliance checks, and interaction with internal investment teams and external teams (e.g. Third party Transition Managers as appointed by Client)

  • Proactively engaging appropriate resources to adjust to changing requirements and demands of the project/ business

  • Seeks to improve ways to enhance existing initiative tracking documentation and oversight processes

  • Work within a flexible manner, willingness to undertake additional ad hoc operational tasks as required for the successful delivery of an initiative

PLEASE NOTE: ALL INTERNAL MOVES WILL NORMALLY TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME GRADE AND SAME SALARY. SALARIES ARE REVIEWED ANUALLY IN FEBRUARY. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE REGARDING TRANSFER ON CURRENT SALARY MAY INCLUDE A MOVE BETWEEN GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS.
