Business Overview:
 
J.P. Morgan’s Custody product provides Institutional investors access to markets worldwide for the settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, as well as providing ancillary services such as Foreign Exchange and Liquidity Solutions.  Fund services provide specialised expertise in accounting and administration of a broad range of fund types. This includes, fund accounting/administration, Fiduciary Services for European funds, distribution support and shareholder record keeping services and over-the-counter derivative processing services.
 
Team Description
 
The Custody and Fund Services Implementation team is the pool of Project Managers responsible for the end to end on-boarding of Custody and Fund Services clients to JPMorgan’s products, systems and operational support architecture. The team handles a range of cross product on-boarding projects for clients and fund managers and plays a critical role in ensuring that deals are executed and onboarded efficiently and on time to maximize revenue opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage project scope, goals, risks and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Project management of virtual teams comprising representatives from various organisational disciplines (e.g. Relationship Management/Sales, Product, Platform, Legal, Operations, Technology, Client Services)
  • Actively and diligently manage project progress by use of project plans, issues logs and status reports.
  • Communicate and continually manage project expectations clearly and effectively with Senior Sponsors, Stakeholders, Implementation Teams and Clients.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues and conflicts within the project.
  • Conduct project post implementation reviews and create a recommendations report in order to facilitate constant improvement to the overall process.
  • Ensure full compliance with best practice and Audit requirements.

Your Background:
  • You will have experience co-ordinating across multiple cross-functional teams to external clients on client on-boarding or change projects, preferably within the Custody and Fund Services space.
  • You can demonstrate experience of working in a pressured environment with external client relationship experience.
  • You can demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through associated project discipline, structure, and time management skill sets.
  • You can describe your experience of effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • You can demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • You have working knowledge of Custody and Fund Services products.  Knowledge of the Investment Operations product would be an advantage.   
  • You will have at least a Bachelor’s degree, professional project certification, or the equivalent work experience.
  • You can describe your experience of MS Office tools, including Power Point, Word, Excel, Projects and Visio.
