This role reports into the CCB (Consumer & Community Banking) Compliance Strategy Development group.  This incumbent will be accountable for the management of strategically important CCB Compliance projects and initiatives as well as continued process and performance improvements.  The candidate will act as a trusted advisor within the organization and actively supports the Chief Compliance Officers’ strategies and plans, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture.  This candidate will be experienced in working independently and driving the execution of tasks as well as working in a team assisting others in the completion of project deliverables.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assisting with the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress,
  • Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Demonstrate extensive US and local regulatory compliance knowledge to be able to effectively drive the project management and implementation of Global Compliance Program projects
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders
  • Performing risk management to minimize project risks establishing  and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in a global project management or coordinator role
  • Six Sigma Green belt certification or an equivalent discipline
  • Relevant experience working in the global Banking/Financial Services industry preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to be proactive and work independently to deliver results and meet deadlines.
  • Keen critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.  Experience with Microsoft Access, Visio, and Project preferred.

Desired:

  • Experience in a global Compliance and/or global Risk/Audit function
  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Six Sigma Black Belt
