CDD L3 Technical Support Analyst

Job Description

The Client Reference Data group within Risk & Finance Technology is looking to recruit a high caliber L3 Technical Support Analyst to work on the strategic Customer Due Diligence application. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with current Oracle database skills. They will be expected to apply these talents to maintain and tune the platform while supporting a global user base.

 

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of delivery in complex fast moving environments. Excellent communication skills will be vital as the successful candidate will be required to partner with end users and various technical teams across the globe in identifying and resolving problems with the platform.

 

Main duties will include

  • Being a subject matter expert on the CDD platform, allowing you to respond to the varying types of questions that come in from a global user base
  • Working as part of an agile Kanban team, supporting the CIB Anti Money Laundering platform
  • Working with business users & technical teams to triage issues and have them prioritised appropriately in the technical backlog
  • Developing enhancements, Data remediation scripts or Software defect fixes to be included in Major or Minor system updates.
  • Demonstrating awareness of platform performance, monitoring the user experience and translating this into future improvement actions
  • Working closely with the AD and Architecture teams to identify bottlenecks in the systems and then recommend remediate action.
  • Representing the technology team when on-site with the user base.

Applicants must have

 

  • Working knowledge of Oracle database and associated tuning techniques
  • Experience working in an application support role
  • A sound understanding of the principles of software development and demonstrates continued learning;
  • Proven ability to understand and interpret complex business systems;
  • A meticulous & thorough approach to work balanced with a strong focus on hitting deadlines;
  • Team working skills are essential;
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude with the ability to travel as required;
  • Pragmatism.
