The Finance function for JPMAM (
The role of European Financial Analyst is based in London to support the European Investment Management (IM) Expenses team which in London consists of 6 people
The London team also forms part of the Global IM Expense team which is responsible for the production and control of the overall Global Expense base for the IM business.
The Expenses team in London is also supported by teams based around the world including, New York, Luxembourg and Hong Kong.
In London the team is also specifically responsible for all the UK Legal entity expenses reporting.
The vacancy within the team is to provide support specifically on:-
The position will provide a good opportunity to meet senior business managers within the GIM Business and to gain experience in dealing with numerous JPM Corporate systems and applications, whilst also obtaining sound practical experience on a number of key accounting practices e.g. Prepayments, Accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, Fixed Asset reporting plus Budgeting and Forecasting.
2 years of professional practical experience in accounting and Finance. Completion of Professional accounting qualification to at least Professional level (part qualified). University degree and Investment Management experience preferable but not essential.
Advanced Excel (e.g. use of pivot tables look up tables essential, ability to write macro’s desirable)
Access (desirable but not essential)
SAP GL (desirable but not essential)
Essbase (desirable but not essential)

Organised and methodical
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to multi-task
Self motivated and self-starter
Be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)

All internal moves will normally take place on the same grade and same salary. Salaries are reviewed annually in February. Exceptions to the rule regarding transfer on current salary may include a move between geographic locations
