Trade Solutions Delivery (TSD) provides middle office support to the Global Trade & Loan Products. Key activities include providing the on-boarding and implementation support to Trade Finance clients for Traditional Trade and Supply Chain Finance products. TSD team is also responsible for the transactional control aspects of Trade Finance related commodity transactions and provides support for the handling of Trade's Export Credit Agency and Portfolio Management (risk distribution) activity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the client on-boarding and implementation process for Trade Finance clients, including product documentation, deployment of client-facing systems & technology. 
  • Work in collaboration with the Trade Advisory and Sales to help structure and implement trade solutions based on client needs.
  • Ensure that all tasks necessary for customer implementation are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Determine customer requirements and establish correct process flows.
  • Support client-facing technology demonstrations, presentations, training, and setup.
  • Manage the day-to-day control responsibilities, as well as implementation related reporting and tracking activities.
  • Coordinate and support projects and initiatives managed by Trade Solutions Delivery team.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in handling the middle or back office functions in Trade Finance.
  • Strong desire to learn all aspects of traditional trade and supply chain finance products.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Chinese and strong analytical abilities.
  • Control focus, meticulousness with an eye for details.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities, and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Experience in handling projects and preparation of management reports will be added advantage.
