Our Team

Global Technology Controls Office (GTCO) exists to ensure the robust control, security and resiliency of the Firm's computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally.

 

Execution and delivery within the business context is achieved through active collaboration with line of business Technology Controls Officers (TCOs) to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.  Consistency, standardization and scalability is achieved through a model of locally deployed leadership and capability which provides integration for domain and business line functions at a regional level. 

 

We are responsible for Controls governance and oversight as well accountable for driving the effectiveness of our technology controls.  Working in partnership with our CIOs, CTOs, ADMs, etc., GTCO is leading the development of risk & controls frameworks that will support the firm’s objective of utilizing Public and Private Cloud based computing, storage and other services.

 

Role Description

 

As GTCO Project Manager within the firm’s Cloud Programs, you will be responsible for managing for the Risk & Controls workstreams, managing the delivery of frameworks, standards and solutions that enable the firm’s use of Public and Private Cloud environments. You will work closely with internal business partners and technical team(s) during all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-initiate through project closure. You will manage the projects to ensure priority, scope, requirements, build and all other aspects of the project are met on time and on budget.

 

You will be responsible for

·         Developing/maintaining Charters for each sub-workstream within the overall Risk & Controls workstream

·         Creating/maintaining a delivery plan for each sub-workstream, and an overall workstream plan

·         Identifying and managing risks, assumptions and issues, and managing dependencies with other workstreams

·         Ensuring the overall quality (consistency, completeness, timeliness, etc.) of all formal workstream deliverables

·         Managing reporting to the Cloud PMO and workstream communications overall

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

·         Good/relevant experience as a BA or PM.

·         Experience in all phases of systems development/project life cycle, experience with developing Test Plans, Project Plans and other SDLC/PLC deliverables

·         Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

·         Highly motivated team player with excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to persuade and influence with tact and assertiveness; strong collaboration and negotiation skills

·         Ability to strive for 100% when required, and to be pragmatic (‘80/20 rule’) on other occasions

·         Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

·         Ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across disparate teams

·         Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. 

·         Ability to facilitate meetings among stakeholders with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view

·         Ability to create a collaborative environment and work through conflict to find appropriate solutions to key issues

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Analytical field with focus in Information Systems or Computer Science

·         Experience in writing functional and technical specifications.

·         Experience setting up test scenarios

·         Awareness of the business and IT strategy

·         Basic understanding of the company's business practices and familiarity with the company's products and services

·         Awareness of various Requirement Management tools

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Analytical field with focus in Information Systems or Computer Science

·         Experience in writing functional and technical specifications.

·         Experience setting up test scenarios

·         Awareness of the business and IT strategy
