Department Summary


The Implementation team is responsible for the end to end client onboarding process once the mandate has been received. The team will aim to provide a seamless experience by having ownership for the overall project milestones which include, scoping, documentation, setups, testing and post-implementation activities. This team is also responsible for delivery of Treasury Services electronic banking platforms to clients as part of the onboarding process which encompasses solutioning of electronic banking products, training and support.

Success of client onboarding will be through close co-ordination with the supporting deal team(s) and build/maintain close working relationships with business partners in Sales, Product, Operations, Technology and Client Service.

Position Summary


This position requires the individual to have management oversight of the in-country implementation team and also have the expertise to lead and implement some of the top complex clients in the country.

The role of the Senior IM in relation to client onboarding and translating Sales wins into revenue for the business will encompass the following:

  • Participate in RFP to support Sales to position and differentiate JP Morgan’s implementation strengths and value-delivery
  • Lead post-mandate discussions to organize clients and internal partners for a successful implementation kick-off
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the client around completion and negotiation of product agreements and usage of bank products and services.
  • Onboard clients efficiently & effectively in line with the defined Implementation processes with focus around cycle-time to expedite time to revenue and achieving utmost client satisfaction.

As a team lead, the individual is expected to be accountable for:

  • Delivering performance in line with defined metrics and goals with a high emphasis on achieving a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Lead the team by working with internal functional partners to drive or support changes to improve future client onboarding experience or strengthen internal risks and controls.
  • Ensure the team is in compliance with audit and risk policies and procedures.
  • People management and development.



  • University degree.
  • Above 8 years of working experience in Banking/Cash management or relevant industry like Corporate Finance and Treasury.
  • Held positions in client facing roles and project management preferred
  • Experienced in people or team management
  • Worked in a matrix, cross-functional organization would be an advantage
