Hyderabad-Team Lead GBDS Mail & Print Services

Job Description

Global Business and Document Services (GBDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase. GBDS consists primarily of two departments, Print and Mailing services.
GBDS seeks a Mail & Printing Lead / Business Analysis that will work as part of a team focused on the various disciplines that support the management in India and APAC region.
Hyderabad Mail & Printing Lead / Business Analyst will report to the India GBDS Location Manager.  They will be the point of contact for the implementation of Mail & Printing initiatives in Hyderabad and also provide analytical focus to all GBDS functions in the India location.  This role will work in partnership with Regional Mail & Printing leads and Regional GBDS Business Manager to ensure global strategies, processes and procedures are implemented where appropriate.  They will develop and implement strategies domestically and ensure all standard operating procedures and corporate policies are in place for these functions. 
Position Responsibilities:
Primary contact for implementation of operational objectives, programs, policies and initiatives, liaising and coordinating with Regional Print & Mail teams and Location Managers to ensure successful roll out.
  • Primary contact for Audit & Compliance to ensure controls are in place for these functions.
  • Review current operating procedures and identify inefficiencies and then develops initiatives and solutions
  • Coordinates training and education sessions for these functions.
  • Financial Analysis
  • Risk & Controls
  • Policy & Compliance, and
  • Business Information Reporting.
Scope: Mail & Print Lead
  • Lead the role out of Mail & Messenger application tools such as Pac Track, DHL invoice Billing System
  • Work with mail teams across the region to provide guidance on local Mail & Messenger initiatives.
  • Responsible for identifying special projects and training opportunities and coordinating training sessions.
  • Maintain project tracking / open deliverable reporting
  • Analyze Print, Mail & Messenger vendor reporting, identifying areas of opportunities, both internal and external.
  • Introduce best practices; implement initiatives for centralization and automation of Mail & Print functions where possible.
  • Look at strategies around Print, Mail & Messenger vendors, and be the contract person for suppliers for this function.
  • Drive and implement the full end to end process of printing services in Hyderabad where demand has been identified.
  • Develop and build business for print and imaging function.
    Business Analyst
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Work closely with the local India GBDS Manager and APAC GBDS Business Manager to provide timely GBDS financial reporting;
    • Be the point of contact for Hyderabad in terms of reporting and analysing India GBDS results;
    • Maintain tracking of Plan numbers and report all variances and associated actions required.

  • Risk & Controls:
    • To ensure that appropriate controls are observed and business process and policies are adhered to by India GBDS;
    • Work with APAC GBDS Business Manager to ensure Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and business resiliency documentation is up to date;
    • Oversee all Outsider Service Provider (OSP) reviews relating to India GBDS activities.

  • Policy & Compliance:
    • Ensure that the  Regional GBDS policies are adhered to via assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) audits, physical checks or random sampling;
    • Work closely with the APAC GBDS Business Manager and Audit group to ensure compliance with any internal reviews.

  • Business Information Reporting:
    • Have input into the development of Business Information for GBDS and Lines of Business reporting to India GBDS Manager;
    • Provide support around Data mining, analysis and reporting relevant to both GBDS internal functions as well as Line of Business requirements;
    • Liaise with Line of Business finance teams to provide appropriate information concerning GBDS charges and allocations.
  • A minimum of two years experience in project management. Experience in analyzing data through project management, ability to re-scope projects.
  • A thorough understanding of Mail & Messenger services and tools, printing operations and applications.
  • A minimum of two years Print, Mail & Messenger operations experience and knowledge of best practices in this area
  • Contract management, vendor management and team management skills.
  • Self starter that can use initiatives and strategic thinker and can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Accounting Skills
  • Strong PC skills with experience in all Microsoft applications is essential
  • Relationship management skills demonstrating a diplomatic and open approach to clients
  • Good presentation skills
  • Proven strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to lead and multitask
