The Global Wealth Management (GWM) Supervisory Management (SM) Practices team is responsible for organizational support and coordination for a team of 110+ SMs in GWM who supervise the Front office Market and Solutions employees. This team partners with the CEOs of PB US, PB LATAM, PB EMEA, PB ASIA, JPMS and Capital Markets/Solutions, O&C, Business Management and Compliance.
 
The team is currently seeking a candidate in our New York City location that will have responsibilities for managing existing SM technology initiative and tools for the GWM SM function.  As part of the GWM SM Practices team the role will have ongoing engagement and collaboration to support the strategic and tactical objectives of the function and provide cross coverage to team members.  The team coordinates for RCSA, compliance testing, internal audits and external regulatory exams that impact the GWM SM function.  This role reports to the Global Coordinators of the GWM SM Function and with a primary focus on partnership with GWM Technology Team, Regional SM Team Leaders and Compliance on Actimize and other internal tools used by the SM function globally. Responsibilities of the role:
  • Establishment of GWM wide Actimize program –bringing International Private Bank onto Actimize
  • Ongoing maintenance and enhancements to the current Actimize USA program including changes ,new oversight functionality in response to regulatory/audit related and business action plans
  • Technology tools standards and requirements:  SM function contributor to help with design and implementation of technology tools. : Requirements, prioritization, scheduling of implementation, UAT Testing: oversight of UAT process, post implementation reviews and validation that changes are done to requirements
  • Identifying enhancements to existing tools to improve SM productivity and oversight accountability
  • Partner within practices team and compliance to create new written supervisory procedures and user guides related to technology tools used by SMs globally
  • Drive SM communication with respect to new functionality, updates to existing functionality, etc., and support delivery of training to relevant SM population.  This includes obtaining feedback from SMs and other stake holders on functionality
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in working in a Supervisory, Compliance, Risk or Control /Audit function aligned to wealth management or retail brokerage platform
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management and retail brokerage supervisory and operational regulations, processes and procedures
  • Ability to study current business processes to identify solutions to improve efficiency of technology tools
  • Superior organizational skills and experience Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Comfortable working in a team environment to meet function priorities
  • Excellent communication  and presentation skills
  • Deliver work product in a clear and organized manner
  • Series 7, 63, 24 and 9/10 a plus
