As a Usability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing/updating the user interface standards. Segment user population and analyze the user behavior and preferences. Conduct usability assessments including across various environments and from various business transaction entry-points. Create mock designs and identifies optimal/most effective solution. Monitor and analyze usability data and issues and recommends potential resolutions. Review business drivers, needs and strategies with Business, Information and Application Architects to understand implications for user interfaces. Develop usability standards: common approaches and design solutions to user-interface development. Review target business architecture and proactively identify implications to existing user interfaces. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the end-user experience. Conduct field research/voice of customer surveys to understand how the user interface is currently used. Ensure thorough testing of user interfaces. Identifying all the impacted user types and forming the testing teams. Designing and monitoring the execution of the test plans. Proactively share successful processes and best practices within/among AD project teams. Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging Six Sigma, CMM, or other methodologies
