Business Analyst II

Job Description

Business Analysis
  • Create incoming project or new business user tools and templates
  • Maintain functionality and risk compliance of existing user tools
  • Register new and annually certify ongoing user tools
  • Perform new process or process change operational and cost benefit analyses
  • Prepare process recommendations to internal and external lines of business which will improve efficiency or reduce cost
  • Determine timing and present opportunities to transition user tools and templates to automated processes and reporting
  • Develop and maintain VBScripts and VBA macros as needed in various business processes
SharePoint and Shared Drive Administration
  • Develop and design SharePoint sites and workflows as needed
  • Provide, modify or terminate user access within 48 hours of request
  • Ensure that all content maintains appropriate security levels
  • Perform quarterly SharePoint recertification based upon approved procedures
  • Perform semi-annual Shared Drive recertification based upon approved procedures
  • Coordinate annual archive based upon record retention policy
Additional Duties:
  • Primary backup for SRW Prioritization and Intake, including Production and UAT environments
  • Secondary backup for SRW configuration management
  • Maintain current policies and procedures for Shared Drive and SharePoint functions
  • Similar duties as assigned
  • 3+ years experience in default mortgage loan servicing or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis in Excel and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL code, VBA macros and VBScript preferred
  • Basic knowledge of SRW preferred
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to identify, understand and relay complex issues
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills required
  • Embraces change, seeks new ways to do things and takes risks in challenging the status quo
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Proactively identifies the need to update strategies and maintain flexibility to change as business needs changes
