The main purpose of Equity Research is to provide advice to institutional investors about the shares they should buy or sell to make profits for their clients, and we work closely with colleagues in Equity cash sales, cash sales trading and trading to do this. Our strong research franchise with institutional investors, the market insights we develop, and the close relationships we establish with the companies we cover are also very valuable to internal clients such as IB, Derivatives, Credit & Rates, and Private Equity.
The team is dedicated to the J.P.Morgan Cross-Asset Nexus platform global development. It is responsible for the creation of new cross-asset products on the platform as well as the marketing, the pricing and execution of derivatives transactions on cross-asset complex/bespoke strategies which need to factor in many different aspects such as model risk, technology, regulatory, legal, accounting and tax. The team is animated by a strong entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, looking to constantly enhance an already broad range of products offered to a very diverse client population.
We are looking for a VP/ED to join the team. The new joiner will work with the team on all aspect of the platform development: new solution infrastructure development, internal and client-facing marketing, pricing, execution, booking and hedging of transactions. He will also work with the quantitative research team and with the model review group in order to make sure that appropriate models are developed and use for pricing, booking and risk-managing complex trades.
Outstanding academic background in a highly quantitative subject with significant relevant work experience from a top institution.
Strong quantitative skills, analytical ability, attention to detail and entrepreneurial/innovative character.
