Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves nearly 66 million consumers and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services through our 137,000 employees.  Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Our Risk Management professionals work directly with Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Auto/Student Loan, Card and Commerce Services, Chase Wealth Management and Mortgage Banking to minimize, monitor and control the probability of risk events and mitigate the impact of risk events that do occur.
Job Area:
This position is part of the Customer Risk Solutions team with the Consumer & Community Banking Risk Analytics department.  Our mission is to aggregate and analyze internal and external data about Chase's customers across all of the Retail and Wholesale customer bases within the Consumer & Community Bank and the Commercial Bank, respectively, in order to make better customer-level risk decisions.
Job Description:
The team is currently looking for a Vice President to play a critical role on various strategic initiatives.  The candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Helping to lead the strategy development and execution for key bodies of work and
  • Create presentations for senior executives and other groups that effectively communicate recommendations, status of overall program including accomplishments, investment asks, challenges, areas of focus, etc.
    This is a highly visible position, and the VP will report directly to the CCB Risk Analytics leader.  Working within a cross-CCB function, the role gives exposure to all of the CCB businesses, finance, legal and compliance, controls and technology groups.  The ideal candidate will need to be extremely organized, flexible and prepared to work on various projects as strategic priorities evolve over time.  Additionally, the role requires the ability to work across multiple domains, with disparate business and functional support (Finance, Marketing, IT, etc.) partners, all under very tight deadlines.  You must be able to prioritize, distill the most important information from complex issues and possess good judgment when to escalate urgent matters for higher level review. 



Required Experience/Skills:
  • BA/BS, with 5+ years of finance, risk or strategy related experience; MBA preferred
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written) and to synthesize information into well summarized documentation or presentations
  • Excellent analytical skills to quickly understand and explain how data and analytics could improve customer strategies
  • Strong executive presence, comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Strong execution focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex technical information and insights in an easy-to-understand way
  • Strong work ethic, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Eagerness to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
  • Strong project management skills.  Highly competent in the coordination of significant numbers of workstreams with simultaneous deliverables across multiple teams
  • Knowledge and familiarity of “Big Data” technologies and business case development a plus
