Director of Acquisitions and Product Development - Disney

The Director of Acquisitions and Product Development will be responsible for developing and ensuring the successful implementation of the Acquisition Strategy for the Disney Co-brand Portfolio.  Additionally they will be responsible for Product Development for the Disney Co-brand portfolio.  In this capacity they will continually evaluate and seek opportunities to enhance the existing product set or introduce new products to meet the needs of Disney consumers. 
 
 Responsibilities
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of multi-year acquisitions strategy that supports Disney Program goals for growth and profitability.
  • Serve as primary point of Contact for partner Acquisitions Marketing and Acquisition Operations Directors.
  • Driving acquisition innovation and channel expansion with particular emphasis on mobile, digital and Partner led activities.
  • Establishing the acquisition budget and forecasts while leading related processes (e.g. ICOM process) for the Disney Program.
  • Ensuring that all acquisitions materials adhere to Chase Treating Customer’s fairly principle and reflect the high quality of the Chase and Disney brands.
  • Ensuring adherence to the contract for all acquisitions related activity
  • Leading Disney Program product development efforts, ensuring the Disney Credit Card value proposition continues to meet the evolving needs of Disney consumers.
  • Participate and lead acquisition discussion in business reviews with Executive leadership.
  • Managing business with strong emphasis on controls and business discipline.
 
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of acquisitions marketing experience, financial services experience is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Strong digital background with demonstrated ability to leverage a variety of digital tactics (display, social, SEO, etc.) to drive growth.
  • Strong consumer focus with proven ability to identify key consumer insights and to develop successful marketing initiatives based on those insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, relationship and influencing skills are a must. The position entails a large degree of cross-functional collaboration and coordination, both internally and with Disney.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, understanding of credit card P&L’s is important.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing and developing people is required.
  • Strong communication skills and presentation skills are required.
