Senior Project Manager – Commercial Banking Client Service and Project Management Office
Description
The Senior Project Manager has the responsibility to help develop, execute and communicate business strategy, as well as perform analysis and execute tactical initiatives for the Commercial Bank Client Service organization nationally. Reporting to the Business Operations Director, the Senior Project Manager will work in partnership with Client Service Management Leadership and Project Managers, as well as various Product, Operations, Data Management, Technology, Marketing partners and other Commercial Banking strategy and planning groups to drive initiatives and ensure delivery of quality results.
This position requires strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  Excellent communication and organizational skills are also critical.  Candidate needs to be self-motivated, self-directed, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.  
In addition to ongoing project management support, this position will extend the delivery of client advocacy and support through key client issue escalation and ongoing engagement on very complex and non-routine client impact issues.  The candidate will work closely with the Service PMO and Risk & Control team, as well as Client Service management, and key operational partners while determining solutions to root cause.  
Key Responsibilities
To include but not limited to:
  • Lead project manager on assigned projects and participant in other project led initiatives, which may include control and risk related projects
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of projects within required time frame
  • Interaction with various teams in Client Service as well as other business partners and key stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects of various complexity
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings as the client service advocate/representative providing continuous feedback on projects
  • Function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of project progress and impacts to the business
  • Thought leader with respect to end to end business processes -iIdentify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions
  • Analyze data and reporting solutions to understand business impacts, correlations and discrepancies, and to propose changes and alternative solutions
  • Prepare presentations, ad hoc reports and materials to be used in various initiatives, including  Quarterly Business Reviews, Senior Management presentations, Sales Meetings, and Town Halls
  • Work product groups to ensure client, service and business needs are represented and strategy is communicated to ensure effective  coordination and completion of initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels
 
 
Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of project management / business analysis experience
    • Proven track record of interacting with senior level executives with ability to demonstrate executive communication competency
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong relationship builder who develops and maintains relationships to help attain targets
    • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills, with strong attention to detail
    • Capable of synthesizing large amounts of data and developing strategic recommendations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand complex processes
    • Expertise in Excel; proficiency in PowerPoint; knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (MS Project, SharePoint, Access, Viso) a plus
    • Experience in client service, Commercial Banking,  Treasury Services products services and systems
    • Flexible and able to adapt to new situations as the business demands
