Wholesale Loans Integration Management Project Manager

Job Description



Wholesale Loan Operations (WLO) services several lines of business within JPMorgan Chase, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking.  The group consists of approximately 1,300 employees and is responsible for over $500 billion in loans outstanding.  Within WLO, the Integration Management team coordinates & monitors all aspects of the long-term WLO strategy including, integration of people, processes and platforms. 


The Project Manager will be responsible for leadership in the execution of Workflow product support initiatives.  Projects will include ongoing release management activities and initiatives associated with the ongoing support of the application. Within an Agile framework, the Product Owner Team comprised of the Product Owner, PMs, and users, works collaboratively with the development team and user groups to document user stories for inclusion in sprints.  The Product Owner Support team is required to balance project management skills with support of the applications through product knowledge and user interaction.



·Direct and manage in parallel multiple projects which are complex in nature within the Workflow agenda
·Define and direct the execution of release management activities within the Agile / Scrum model
·Develop end to end project plan, milestones and risks / dependencies covering all areas
·Partner with relevant Operations and business stakeholders to effectively leverage subject matter expertise
· Manage stakeholders, conduct working group calls and ensure issues are properly captured and resolved
·Provide user support during production incidents and proactively communicate status
· Establish working relationships and routinely interface with: project sponsors, business stakeholders, Technology, Subject Matter Experts (SMES), and other functional partners
·Lead/participate in regular project meetings to ensure project progress, adherence to project plan, milestones and deliverables including Workgroup & SME Engagement/Planning/Administration
·Monitor, track, and report on project deliverables through each stage of the project life cycle to ensure projects are completed on time
·Provide timely, accurate status updates to key WLO stakeholders including Senior Leadership
· Manage the sprint and cross project tasks and dependencies.  Aid in coordination of user testing, as needed
·Build and sustain partnerships across LOBs, Operations, Technology
·Effectively prioritize and delegate work , driving tasks with authority
·Partner with appropriate resources to provide/complete required project documentation (process flows, gap analysis, procedures, etc.)
·Demonstrate ability to analyze data, create statistics and trends of ceremony results and the product backlog.  Review with the teams and leadership

  •  BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
  • A minimum of 5 years in the financial services market
  • Proven Project Management experience, including the use of project plans and issue logs
  •  Agile/Scrum project management methodology experience is a plus
  • Experience in loan operations and/or loan technology preferred
  • Experience in leading dynamic projects and project workgroups
  • Experience in status reporting (project status, risks, issues, change controls, action items)
  • Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and delivery skills
  •  Builds internal relationships through effective partnering and communications, able to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all staff levels
  •  Able to operate independently, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work in order to support concurrent projects
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools (including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
  •  Demonstrates increasing levels of business and technical acumen in order to effectively engage with Feature Team and bridge the gap between business and technology
  •  Participates proactively and continuously in the activities of the team. Is visible, vocal, and objective.
  •  Experience in eliciting and documenting workflows preferred
