The Marketing Analytics Senior Associate position will be responsible for  cultivating consumer behavior insights.  Analytical, data mining, and consumer/data insight experience will be leveraged for Chase Card Services' marketing initiatives, within the Partnership Card business.  The position will also be responsible for consulting with internal and external business partners, developing valuable business analytics and driving replicable analytic methodologies throughout the organization.  The position will offer an opportunity to:
 
·       Develop segmentation and business analyses using SQL/SAS in a large transactional data warehouse environment
·       Interact with marketing leaders and business partners in developing, analyzing and reporting on consumer purchasing and usage trends, direct to consumer marketing initiatives, and marketing campaign results
·       Develop marketing test plans (sampling, test/control design) and reporting templates
·       Contribute to the implementation of tracking and reporting tools for monthly reporting and analysis
 
 

This position works closely with the Relationship Marketing Team, Decision Sciences, Acquisitions and Credit Policy groups to drive profitable marketing & customer insight.

  • Minimum 2+ years of analytical and industry experience in credit card, T&E retail, direct marketing, financial or other consumer orientated businesses, that capture and leverage a large transactional database
  • Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skill.  Ability to synthesize/analyze diverse information, develop and recommend strategies, and make decisions
  • Considerable background in consumer segmentation, customer profiling, and data mining
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; possessing the ability to convey complex information - simply and clearly - to senior business leaders
  • Strong financial and reporting acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work requirements across a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • BS/MS in a quantitative discipline - Statistics, Math, Operations Research, etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL and SAS is required
