Operations Demand Manager-CCB Operations Project Management Office

Job Description

The Portfolio Demand Manager role encompasses Project Management disciplines that include: aligning initiatives / project priorities with organizational roadmaps, facilitate portfolio project selection and prioritization, portfolio risk and issues mitigation, portfolio cross impacts / dependencies, resource planning and demand management. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the compilation of portfolio demand with emphasis on data completeness.
  • Identify implementation candidates and assist with initial prioritization.
  • Communicate timelines for business readiness and monitor for readiness risks throughout the demand management process.
  • Evaluate current processes and delivery methods and make recommendations on ways to improve and streamline our underlying operational process.  Rethink process to dramatically improve efficiency and effectiveness, allowing to deliver on increasing program demand while reducing expenses.
  • Be forward looking and extend CCB-Op's Demand/Resource planning horizon (18 month plan).
  • Develop management reporting to appropriately represent the health of CCB Op's project portfolio focusing on pipeline and demand management.
  • Assists Business Unit’s with continuous new projects requests in order to maintain pipeline of demand. 
  • 10+ years of overall experience with a strong background in project management, business re-engineering, analytics, strategy, and finance.
  • Previous project demand management  experience a plus
  • Must be able to handle multiple deliverables and competing deadlines; manages the standard use of tools and templates to facilitate project planning and governance across the organization.
  • Experience in analyzing, reconciling, communicating, preparing and managing data
  • Keeps up-to-date on documents/reports/guidelines that have a bearing on matters related to Demand Management.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, with comfort in drawing sound, analytically-based conclusions, even when faced with imperfect information and uncertainly.
  • Strong blend of change agent and business savvy.
  • Exceptional integrity, collaboration and management courage.
  • Thought leader with practical decision making ability that will deliver precise, accurate and detailed information while operating within corporate guidelines.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience is required.
