Job Description

The New Accounts Manager is responsible for obtaining performance from a team of non-exempt professionals that assign new accounts, review new application accuracy, and work with customers to resolve unprocessed applications.
Essential Functions
Responsible for managing the New Account Support team.  Team Manager is responsible for obtaining performance from a team of approximately 14 non-exempt professionals that work directly with internal and external customers to manage new application processing while paying specific attention to service level agreements, driving business efficiency and strengthening customer relationships.  Team Manager ensures timely and accurate assessments of activities and quickly identifies discrepancies in processing.  Takes appropriate action where training, coaching, or other action is indicated.  The position supports inquiries for, and interfaces with, management of all Commercial Card departments to resolve issues and address inquiries regardless of source.
The Team Manager of New Accounts is responsible for fulfilling the mission of full customer engagement as gauged by objective metrics and customer surveys.   Successful candidate fully understands the importance of maintaining client and customer confidence and as a result of the skillful and timely handling of applications.
  • Requires 5+ years‘ experience in Commercial or Consumer Credit and/or data processing   
  • Requires leadership experience
  • Prefer working knowledge of Commercial Card policy, procedures and processes
  • Working knowledge of databases and reporting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill essential
  • Functional experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Position may require limited business travel
