Quality Sr. Specialist II

Job Description

This is a first level Quality position within the National Recovery Group. Specialists will be responsible for assessing employee and process performance across functional units including quality reviews of sworn document execution, litigation operations. Specialists will also evaluate risks in function processes and effectiveness of controls, via daily execution of quality reviews. Specialists will be expected to partner with management to balance the needs of the business, while assessing opportunities to improve the control environment. Specialists may participate in employee calibrations or process improvement teams, as needed.
Core responsibilities include:
  • Perform targeted process/control reviews.
  • Evaluate control effectiveness for a specific process.
  • Provide and write issue summarizations for Quality reporting purposes.
  • Develop written communications and presentation materials.
  • Maintain working relationships with business partners.


  • Minimum of two years experience is required in a process analysis and/or quality review function.
  • Must have an intermediate knowledge of regulatory/risk based business impacts.
  • Experience in a Collections, Recovery, Vehicle Remarketing or Servicing Operations related job function is preferred.
  • Candidates must be articulate, detail oriented, and able to work/think independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as analysts will be required to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency with various collections, servicing and accounting systems including iCAF, VLS, ALA, CALS, Recovery One, and QUEST is preferred.
  • Position requires fundamental computer skills including use of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
